Popular Akron author, journalist, and educator David Giffels presents his latest book, a memoir of life, death, family, friendship – and how to build a sturdy coffin!  Filled with poignant insight and many laughs, Furnishing Eternity is already generating great reviews.  It may well be Giffels’ best work to date.

There will be a Q&A after Mr. Giffels presentation, and a book signing.  Books will be available for purchase.

Presented by the Akron-Summit County Public Library and Friends of Main Library.  Friends members receive preferred seating.  Auditorium doors will open at 6:30 pm.  Call 330-643-9015 for more information.
